GPS Vehicle Activity Real Time Email Alert

Activity Alerts are just one of the automated alerts that can be configured and used in the Discrete Wireless GPS Fleet Management System. The Discrete Wireless System is designed to provide completely automated management and maintenance of your fleet. Whereas many Fleet Management Systems require hands on active viewing of data and reports from a PC, the Discrete Wireless GPS System, once set up, can deliver all of your fleet reports and data directly to key managers using any number of messaging systems - Email, Smart Phone, Cell Phone, etc.

As an example, the Activity Alerts Can be configured to notify you if any of the following occur:

•  Speeding
•  Odd Hours of Opperation
•  Vehicle Use on Weekends
•  First Movement of the Day
•  Arrival at Location
•  Departure from Location
•  Enter and Exit Zone
•  Sensors (Idle, Cargo Door, Lift, Etc.)
•  Extended Stop
•  No Movement

to the right is a sample Activity Alert Enter and Exit Zone Screen. This can be set up such that if any vehicle in a fleet goes outside the green zone, an email, or text message will be sent immediately to key managers. Likewise if any vehicles enter a saved "location", a notification will also be emailed or sent to a smart phone or cell phone.

The locations can be areas as small as 30 meters in diameter, so they are useful in identifying businesses (restaurants, bars, etc.) where your vehicles should never go. The large Zone rectangles are useful in insuring that company vehicles are not abused for personal use. Are workers taking trucks to the lake or hunting on weekends, etc.
