Mike Scarbrough
Chief Executive Officer

Mike Scarbrough is Chief Executive Officer of Discrete Wireless. Mr. Scarbrough’s leadership sets the strategic direction and vision creating an organization that combines innovation and technology to improve customer asset and business performance. Today Discrete Wireless is a leading provider of mobile resource management solutions that provide measurable results.  Prior to Discrete Wireless, Mr. Scarbrough held executive leadership positions including Chief Operating Officer of FBO Systems, a leading Enterprise Asset Management company where he led the company’s product development and established global best practices to achieve world class asset management.  Prior to FBO Systems, he was Corporate Controller at divisions of Scovill and Sonoco.  Mr. Scarbrough holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Georgia and a Masters in Business Administration from Georgia State University.

Gil Fridman
Chief Financial Officer

Gil Fridman is Chief Financial Officer of Discrete Wireless, Inc. Prior to Joining Discrete Wireless, Mr. Fridman served as Divisional CFO for Amdocs’ AT&T division, a market leader in customer experience software and as Director of Finance for Polycom, an industry leader in unified collaboration solutions. Mr. Fridman has 15 years of global finance and accounting experience including IPO, Mergers & Acquisitions and Venture Capital. Prior to Polycom, he was corporate controller with Accord Networks and spent five years in various roles at Price Waterhouse Coopers LLP. Mr. Fridman is a certified public accountant and holds a B.S. in Economics & Accounting from Bar-Ilan University in Tel-Aviv, Israel.

Kurt Ballard
Senior Vice President, Distribution and Marketing

Kurt Ballard is Senior Vice President of Distribution and Marketing for Discrete Wireless. He brings more than 20 years of international sales leadership and marketing experience to Discrete Wireless including executive leadership positions in various industries including manufacturing, outsourcing, consulting, software and technology.
Prior to joining Discrete Wireless, Mr. Ballard served as Chief Marketing Officer and SVP of Global Sales for PreVisor Inc., a global talent measurement company. His experience also includes leadership positions at General Motors Corporation and global outsourcing and technology companies in Australia, Japan and the United Kingdom.  Mr. Ballard holds a degree in journalism and mass communication from the University of Georgia.

Bert Gillespie
Senior Vice President, Sales

Bert Gillespie is Senior Vice President of Direct Sales for Discrete Wireless.  Mr. Gillespie brings more than 20 years of business development, channel sales and sales leadership experience in the software and technology industries.  Prior to joining Discrete Wireless, Mr. Gillespie served as director of sales for Qualcomm Enterprise Services where he led the company’s entry into fleet focused mobile resource management by establishing sales channel distribution and market development strategies.  Previously, he held sales leadership roles for mobile resource companies including @Road, Sapias and FleetMatics. Mr. Gillespie’s professional experience also includes 10 years at Apple Computer focusing on sales and growth strategies for the indirect sales channels.  Mr. Gillespie holds a master’s degree in education from the University of Oklahoma.

Chris Ferrante
Senior Vice President, SaaS Sales

Chris Ferrante is Senior Vice President of SaaS Sales for Discrete Wireless.  Mr. Ferrante has over 19 years of executive sales leadership, business development, direct and channel sales experience in the computer software industry. Prior to joining Discrete Wireless, Mr. Ferrante served as Vice President of Mid-Market Sales over North America with Kaseya, a global provider of IT Systems Management Software. Previously, Chris served as Vice President of Sales over the Americas with Numara Software growing revenues by 500% in his tenure and achieving Gartner's rank of 3rd largest IT Service Desk Vendor in market share. Additional sales leadership positions with leading companies including WebEx Communications, Computer Associates, and Symantec Corporation. Mr. Ferrante holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Florida State University.

Steve Pitsos
Vice President, Operations

Steven L. Pitsos is Vice President of Operations for Discrete Wireless.  He brings more than 25 years of enterprise operations and strategic planning experience to his role.  Prior to joining Discrete Wireless, Mr. Pitsos served in leading organizations including DuPont, EDS, QAD and Westinghouse with responsibilities in enterprise asset management, nuclear process control systems, mobile resource management and as a systems engineer for the U.S. Air Force Strategic Air Command.  He has held top secret and secret clearances for over 15 years. Mr. Pitsos holds an A.S. in Electronic Systems Engineering from Community College of the Air Force and a B.S. in Industrial Technology from Southern Illinois University.
