MARCUS® Radio Module – The MARCUS® 3G Radio Module is an In-vehicle GPS tracking system that receives signals transmitted from GPS satellites to determine relevant information including location and time sensitive data such as speed, position, heading, and number of miles driven. Various optional sensors such as doors opening/closing, temperature, and PTO can be added to the standard product. The MARCUS® in-vehicle equipment requires no driver interaction so the system is less likely to be influenced by driver error or tampering. Since the MARCUS® vehicle tracking system is wired to the vehicles power supply, management always knows how and where vehicles are being used.
MARCUS® Web Application - The MARCUS® application provides various features and functionality to aid managers and owners of fleets to maximize operational efficiency without significant capital expense. Features included in MARCUS® are the ability to locate and find a single vehicle, a fleet of vehicles, and the closest vehicle(s) to a particular location’s address. The vehicle’s location is updated every 2 minutes and can be seen in real-time as well as a historical track or “bread-crumb” trail for the day or in the past 3 months. Outside of the graphical representation of data, there are reports that are generated in the application for beginning to end of day, starts and stops, speed, as well as a detailed activity for that vehicle. Lastly, MARCUS® was designed for notifications of occurrences to allow remote monitoring of the fleet. The manager can configure e-mail alerts for when vehicles travel in and out of zones, over a certain speed threshold, within a particular saved location, and even the first movement of the day.
